HARRISBURG – Rep. Dawn Keefer (R-Dillsburg) and fellow members of the Taxpayers’ Caucus will seek input from residents on proposed tax increases during a hearing at the Fairview Township Fire Department, 340 Lewisberry Road, New Cumberland, on Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 12:30-3 p.m.

“The Senate narrowly passed a cobbled-together tax package which would impact every Pennsylvanian. The Taxpayers’ Caucus wants to hear taxpayers’ thoughts and concerns about the tax plan,” Keefer said. “The taxpayers’ input will help guide House members of the caucus as they review the tax plan before it is put up for a vote later in August.”

Founded as a result of the 2015-16 budget impasse, the Taxpayers’ Caucus was created by members of the House and Senate with the single purpose of changing the culture of Harrisburg.

Area residents who want to address the Taxpayers’ Caucus during the hearing are asked to call Keefer’s district office at (717) 432-0792.
