HARRISBURG – Reps. Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland) and Dawn Keefer (R-York) are hosting a Concealed Carry Seminar this Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon (doors open at 8:30 a.m.) at the Carlisle Expo Center, 100 K St. in Carlisle.

“This is an excellent opportunity to educate yourself on Pennsylvania firearm laws and ask questions of the experts we have present at the event,” said Gleim. “I encourage anyone who owns a firearm or is thinking of purchasing one, to attend.”

There will be a presentation about Pennsylvania’s concealed firearm laws by Attorney Joshua Prince. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office will also be on-site to process Cumberland County residents’ concealed carry applications.

Cumberland County applicants will need:

• Cash, check or money orders in the amount of $20 with a completed paper application.
• Driver’s license with current address or change of address card.

The sheriff’s office can assist other county residents with their online application at the event, but they will need a credit card for the $25 fee ($20 application and $5 processing fee).

“Residents who attended similar seminars I hosted in the past left with a wealth of knowledge about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry and firearms laws. This free seminar will be no different and I hope residents take advantage by signing up to attend today,” Keefer said.

For planning purposes, please RSVP by Friday, Nov. 3, online at RepGleim.com or RepKeefer.com, or by calling 717-249-1990.
